Hydromed Gloss is a tough, flexible, water based modified acrylic coating which provides the ultimate safeguard against the growth of micro-organisms such as bacteria, mould (fungus) and yeasts. Sterility is achieved by the incorporation of a permanently effective, non-leaching, protective system which is free from heavy metal complexes, phenols and other toxic elements.
Hydromed Gloss cures to form a pleasing, semi gloss, decorative skin that responds to thermal and structural movement without flaking and cracking associated with conventional paint. It also resists damage from blistering and loss of adhesion on damp substrates, because of its vapour permeable structure which permits the escape of substrate moisture.Special flow characteristics facilitate a high build, impact resistant finish, whilst minimising the number of coats required.
